Tremco Vulkem® 45SSL is a single-component, semi-self-leveling, moisture-curing, low-modulus polyurethane sealant formulated specifically for horizontal joint applications. It flows smoothly into expansion joints and self-levels to a clean finish on slopes up to 6%, eliminating the need for extensive tooling while ensuring complete contact with joint substrates. Built on the same innovative polymer technology as TREMproof® 250GC and Dymonic® 100, it delivers exceptional primerless adhesion — even to damp or green concrete — making it a practical choice on active job sites where ideal cure conditions aren't always possible. Traffic-rated, jet fuel resistant, and suitable for continuous immersion in non-chlorinated water.
Ideal For: Expansion joints in sidewalks, plaza decks, parking structures, swimming pool surrounds, warehouse and industrial floors, airport aprons (jet fuel exposure), and any horizontal joint on slopes up to 6% requiring a traffic-rated, semi-self-leveling seal.
