Pecora DynaTrol® I-XL Hybrid One-Part Sealant is a premium STPU (silyl-terminated polyurethane) hybrid sealant engineered for sealing dynamic joints between dissimilar building materials across both exterior and interior applications. Isocyanate-free and moisture-cure, it delivers outstanding joint movement capability of ±50% — backed by 1,400% elongation at break and an unprimed peel adhesion of 30 pli to aluminum, glass, and concrete. Where many sealants fall short, DynaTrol I-XL Hybrid excels: it does not yellow, crack, or craze under long-term UV exposure, is fully paintable within 30–60 minutes, and cures tack-free in under 3 hours.
Ideal For: Exterior and interior door and window perimeter sealing, expansion and control joints, EIFS and architectural panels, precast tilt-up panels, fiber cement siding, coping and cornice joints, concrete applications requiring jet fuel resistance, and use as a liquid flashing or joint filler within Pecora air barrier systems. Also suited for OEM manufacturing applications including travel trailers, mobile homes, and extruded PVC windows and doors.
