Pecora DynaFlex™ SC Flexible Polyurethane Security Sealant is a one-part, non-sag, tamper-resistant elastomeric STPU (silyl-terminated polyurethane) sealant engineered specifically for institutional and correctional security installations — delivering the high-performance strength of two-component security sealants with the straightforward application of a single-component product. Formulated to achieve a minimum Shore A hardness of 55, ultimate tensile strength of 215 psi, and tear strength of 40+ ppi, DynaFlex SC resists the tearing, gouging, and removal attempts common in high-security environments — while still maintaining 25% total joint movement capability to accommodate structural dynamics. Unlike rigid epoxy-based security products, DynaFlex SC remains permanently flexible, preventing cracking under movement, and can be painted to blend with adjacent surfaces for a clean, institutional finish.
Ideal For: Correctional facilities, prisons, detention centres, hospitals, schools, and other public buildings where sealants are subject to tampering and vandalism — including expansion and control joints, window and door perimeter joints, penetrations, vents, masonry-to-masonry, masonry-to-metal, and metal-to-metal joint applications.
