Pecora 898NST Sanitary Mildew Resistant Silicone Sealant is a single-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant engineered for interior wet area and hygienic applications where cleanliness, mould resistance, and aesthetic performance are paramount. Formulated with Pecora's Non-Staining Technology (NST), it will not stain marble, granite, or other sensitive natural stones, and its fluid-free formula eliminates the migration that can collect dirt and fuel mould growth at the joint surface — a common failure point with conventional sanitary sealants. The neutral-cure chemistry means none of the permeating acetic acid (vinegar) odour associated with standard acetoxy silicone bath sealants, making it well suited for occupied spaces. Pecora 898NST bonds excellently to glass, ceramic tile, glazed pottery, porcelain, enamel, natural and cultured marble, granite, limestone, metals, and painted wood — generally without primer on ceramic and glass surfaces — and remains permanently flexible across a service temperature range of -51°C to +149°C.
Ideal For: Perimeter sealing of bathtubs, showers, sinks, lavatories, kitchen fixtures, and countertops; ceramic tile resetting and re-grouting; natural stone and marble wet areas; and any interior hygienic application requiring a permanently flexible, non-staining, mould-resistant silicone seal.
