Soprasolin HD Foil-Faced Self-Adhered Air and Vapour Barrier Membrane is a multi-purpose, fully self-adhered, water-resistant sheet membrane composed of a high-quality SBS-modified bitumen core protected with an aluminum foil facer — engineered for extended UV exposure without additional covering. Soprasolin HD functions as both an impermeable air/vapour barrier and a flashing membrane at rough openings, window and door perimeters, penetrations, and transitions on above-grade exterior wall assemblies.
Ideal For: Self-adhered impermeable air/vapour barrier applications and flashing at rough openings, window and door heads and sills, penetrations, and transitions on above-grade masonry, concrete, glass-faced exterior gypsum board, and exterior plywood. Must be used with Soprema Elastocol Stick primer. Minimum application temperature: +10°C (50°F) and rising.
