Soprema Sopra-XPS 100 is a high-density, closed-cell extruded polystyrene (XPS) rigid insulation board built for demanding applications where compressive strength is critical. With a minimum compressive strength of 690 kPa (100 psi) and flexural strength of 1100 kPa (160 psi), it handles the heavy loads of parking decks, plaza decks, and under-slab foundations without crushing or deforming over time. Its square-edge profile on all four sides makes for clean, tight installations, and the closed-cell structure resists water absorption — just 0.1% by volume — so thermal performance stays consistent even in wet and freeze-thaw conditions.
Ideal For: Protected membrane (inverted) roofing systems, parking decks and plaza decks, under-slab foundation insulation, civil engineering applications, and any project requiring high-compressive-strength thermal insulation under heavy loads.
