Rockwool ROXUL Safe® Safing Strips are semi-rigid stone wool insulation sections pre-cut to 3" x 4" x 48" for fast, precise installation in perimeter fire containment systems. Designed to fill the linear gap between concrete floor slabs and exterior curtainwall or cladding assemblies, these non-combustible mineral wool strips are a critical component in tested and approved perimeter firestop systems — forming a reliable thermal and fire barrier that resists flame spread and toxic smoke development even at temperatures up to 2,150°F (1,177°C).
